Happy New VoluntYear!

“I’m not quite sure what a volunteer’s meant to feel like but I feel like I’ve contributed something. I feel like I’ve actually helped to make a difference in the day of these people. It’s nice to know you’ve done something that makes people feel better. If that’s what a volunteer’s meant to feel like, it’s easy; I could volunteer all day long.” - A first-time volunteer

If you've ever thought about volunteering, New Year is a wonderful opportunity to get involved! There’s sure to be something to suit your interests and the time you are able to give, whatever it is, and lots of organisations with all sorts of opportunities available:

  • one-off
  • monthly, weekly or several times a year
  • short term
  • long term
  • from home
  • in the community
  • inside
  • outside
  • with others
  • by yourself

We’ve put together a couple of opportunities to give you an idea about some of the opportunities available with Volunteering Brent. It's easy to get started: just click on the title to apply for the role
